Job Description
Role Overview
You will produce high quality, accurate and brand compliant documents for FRP’s Bids team, with a particular focus on Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory. This will include information memoranda, proposals, credentials and other complex client materials. The role combines strong document production and design capability with disciplined project coordination, helping the National Bid Manager and deal teams turn technical content into clear and professional documents.

- Produce proposals, credentials, panel submissions and presentation materials to agreed deadlines and quality standards
- Turn detailed financial, commercial and technical content into clear, consistent and well-structured documents
- Apply FRP’s visual identity to complex documents and presentations, creating clear layouts, charts, tables, graphics and other visual elements
- Coordinate input from multiple contributors, manage revisions and approvals, and maintain disciplined version control
- Proof documents for accuracy, consistency, spelling, grammar, formatting and brand compliance before release
- Work with partners, fee earners, business development colleagues and external designers to clarify briefs and manage production schedules
- Provide clear progress updates and flag risks, missing information or competing deadlines at an early stage
- Maintain approved templates, credentials, case studies, biographies, graphics and reusable content
- Maintain accurate reporting on bid activity and outcomes, capture post-bid feedback and identify lessons to improve future activity
- Accurately record time spent supporting different offices, teams and service lines
- Identify practical improvements that increase consistency, reduce rework and improve turnaround times
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client, transaction and commercial information

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
