Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • BigFix Architecture & Inventory
    • Advanced understanding of BigFix Architecture, including Clients, Relays, Servers, Web Reports, and Inventory components.
  • BigFix Inventory
    • Expert knowledge with a specific focus on:
      • Hardware Scanning
      • Software Scanning
      • Capacity Scanning
    • Endpoint-level troubleshooting and validation
    • Ability to identify and troubleshoot inventory reporting discrepancies from endpoint through to inventory reporting platforms.
  • BigFix Client Deployment & Troubleshooting
    • Ability to guide end users through installation and troubleshooting activities remotely.
  • Scripting & Deployment Technologies
    • Advanced knowledge of PowerShell and Shell scripting used for agent deployment and remediation activities.
