The successful Senior BIM Coordinator will report into the Drawing Office Manager and be responsible for the coordination BIM deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of client’s requirements throughout all project phases. This is a Hybrid role requiring ad hoc visits to our Warwick office, and monthly visits to the HS2 project office in Birmingham. Occasional site visits to report on the projects progress & verify information requirements are being captured and linked to the Project Information Model may also be required.
What you’ll do:
- Develop multi-discipline models and drawings using Bentley Software in compliance with project-specific requirements.
- Support project delivery teams in ensuring BIM standards and processes are followed.
- Ensure Information exchange formats are consistent and delivered on the CDE project— DGN, DWG, IFC, PDF, NWC & NWD.
- Assist with project planning, resource coordination and workload management.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members where required.
- Ensure shared resource information is available to the relevant stakeholders on the CDE at the commencement of each project.
- Maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in response to client Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
- Lead BIM review and coordination meetings, able to manage all aspects of the project CDE

Who you are:
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a digital design team to consistently achieve quality deliverables across all BIM projects. Ability to monitor the quality of information being shared on the project CDE, confirm all deliverables comply with the BEP & EIRs to ensure they align with the digital delivery strategies and report on non-conformance, offering corrective guidance to the project team.
Key Requirements:
- Advanced skills in Bentley Microstation, strong BIM coordination skills and expert knowledge of 3D modelling tools
- Experience supporting project teams through delivery phases.
- Understanding the relevant BIM standards (IS019650 or previously PAS1192) is essential
- Experience in setting up and management of ProjectWise is essential
- Experience in setting up BIM projects and management of BIM software templates.
- Experience in Coordination and Clash detection procedures is essential.
