Job purpose

The London team at TP BENNETT are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior BIM Coordinator to join our BIM Management Team and help drive the business forward through the effective delivery of BIM processes, standards, and technology. Reporting within the BIM Management function, you will provide expert technical support and guidance to project teams in the use of BIM-enabled tools and workflows, ensuring compliance with company protocols and industry best practice, including the principles of ISO 19650. Acting as the primary BIM point of contact for your office, you will support projects throughout their lifecycle, from setup to handover, offering recommendations, troubleshooting, and strategic guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

The role also involves preparing BIM Execution Plans in response to client requirements, co-leading BIM kick-off workshops, and supporting bid submissions, process development, and internal BIM initiatives. Working closely with the BIM Management Team, Design Technology Group, and project stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the company's BIM strategy, deliver training and workshops, and provide mentoring and support to Junior BIM Coordinators and studio-based focus groups. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional with strong technical expertise, collaborative skills, and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement across a BIM-enabled project environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a close relationship with your in-line manager and other senior BIM Staff members by engaging in daily conversations meant to maintain workload awareness and address critical items whilst establishing the main tasks priority list.
  • Contribute to tp bennett’s BIM strategy by identifying, developing and delivering supporting initiatives and training.
  • Contribute and provide support with reviewing BIM specific documents such as OIR, PIR, AIR, EIR, BIM Protocols and writing and producing BEPs. Provide help and support with project BIM specific RFP’s.
  • Provide support, mentoring and guidance to Junior BIM Coordinators and studio-based focus groups.
  • Provide active & immediate technical support to all studio-based designers on their use of BIM-enabling products and processes.
  • Provide support to Team BIM Leads to develop models aligned with internal business and external project BIM protocols
  • Undertake the role of the main BIM Representative (Task Information Manager or Project Information Manager function according to ISO 19650 principles) on projects where a suitable member of the team has yet to be identified
  • Contribution to specific project (BIM) deliverables in support of achieving key deadlines
  • Undertake comprehensive BIM model audits aligned to specific work stages
  • Set up, administer and maintain project Common Data Environments in line with ISO 19650 principles.
  • Liaise directly with clients, contractors and subconsultants on model exchange and coordination protocols across projects.
  • Ensure model and drawing outputs comply with Uniclass, NBS and project specific naming and classification standards.
  • Support the production of COBie and other asset data at project handover and close out.
  • Host internal educational sessions, including the development of associated content.
  • Make active use of artificial intelligence tools on a weekly basis, embedding them into daily workflows and automations. Identify and build automations that remove repetitive tasks. Share this learning with the wider Digital Design Team to support the ongoing development of tp bennett's digital and AI strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
