Senior BIM Technician

We are seeking a skilled Senior BIM Technician to support the delivery of high-quality models, assurance, and digital information across a range of major infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. You will work closely with Engineers, Designers, Construction Teams, and BIM Managers to produce coordinated, compliant models and drawings in line with project and client requirements.

We promote based on performance and integrity – time served is not a factor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and develop 3D models and drawing outputs using relevant BIM authoring tools.
  • Management of information delivered on the projects we are involved in.
  • Identify areas for improvement or efficiency and take ownership of promoting best practice – challenging where necessary.
  • Support the coordination of multidisciplinary models and assist with clash detection.
  • Prepare drawings, schedules, and model-based information for project deliverables.
  • Ensure models comply with CAD standards, project BEPs, and information requirements.
  • Assist with model audits, QA checks, asset tagging, and asset data validation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized model structures, naming conventions, and file management.
  • Support information exchanges at key project stages.
  • Ability to forecast task workloads and meet self-set deadlines.
  • Empower the company vision of “training our own” to mentor and educate our apprentices.
  • A desire to be involved in, and aware of, aspects of running the business, and project management on our projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
