The Role
- Lead BIM standards, procedures, and best practices across multiple projects as a Senior BIM Technician.
- Oversee BIM coordination and maintain high-quality project models from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical support for Revit modelling, clash detection, and information management processes.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver fully coordinated designs.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on BIM processes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance digital workflows and drive BIM innovation.
- Ensure project delivery meets programme deadlines, budget requirements, and UK industry standards.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Senior BIM Technician, BIM Lead, or Senior Architectural Technician with strong BIM expertise.
- Advanced Revit skills with a comprehensive understanding of BIM methodologies and industry standards expected of a Senior BIM Technician.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Confident leading technical teams while remaining actively involved in project delivery.
- Experience across the RIBA Plan of Work, particularly within technical design and construction stages.
- A proactive Senior BIM Technician with a passion for digital innovation and delivering high-quality design solutions.
