Location: Bristol

Salary: GBP45:55,000

The Role

  • Lead BIM standards, procedures, and best practices across multiple projects as a Senior BIM Technician.
  • Oversee BIM coordination and maintain high-quality project models from concept through to completion.
  • Provide technical support for Revit modelling, clash detection, and information management processes.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver fully coordinated designs.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on BIM processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance digital workflows and drive BIM innovation.
  • Ensure project delivery meets programme deadlines, budget requirements, and UK industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Senior BIM Technician, BIM Lead, or Senior Architectural Technician with strong BIM expertise.
  • Advanced Revit skills with a comprehensive understanding of BIM methodologies and industry standards expected of a Senior BIM Technician.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and technical detailing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident leading technical teams while remaining actively involved in project delivery.
  • Experience across the RIBA Plan of Work, particularly within technical design and construction stages.
  • A proactive Senior BIM Technician with a passion for digital innovation and delivering high-quality design solutions.
