Senior BIM Technician – Data Centres
Ready to work on some of the most technically demanding Data Centre projects in the industry?
An established and rapidly growing Contractor based in County Tyrone is looking for an experienced Senior BIM Technician to join their design team, working on major Data Centre and high-specification M&E projects across the Ireland, UK and Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM professional who wants to work on large-scale, technically complex projects while developing their career within a business with a strong pipeline of work.
The Role
As a Senior BIM Technician, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of M&E design for major projects, with a particular focus on Data Centre developments.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Producing detailed mechanical and electrical BIM models and drawings using Revit.
- Working across complex Data Centre and critical infrastructure projects.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, project teams and other disciplines to ensure coordinated designs.
- Developing accurate construction and installation drawings.
- Supporting the delivery of projects from design through to construction.
- Assisting with the coordination and development of junior BIM Technicians.
- Identifying and resolving design and coordination issues throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a BIM Technician / Revit Technician within an M&E contractor or consultancy.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP.
- Experience working on large-scale M&E projects.
- Data Centre experience is highly desirable, particularly within mechanical or electrical building services.
- Strong understanding of BIM coordination and construction drawings.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, contractors and wider project teams.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior technicians would be advantageous.
