About the Role
We are seeking capable, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our friendly and dedicated team in the Haematology & Blood Transfusion department within Blood Sciences. This post is based at the Royal Stoke Hospital site, but rotation to the County site can be expected.
Requirements
You must have full HCPC registration for appointment as a Senior Biomedical Scientist along with an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Haematology/Transfusion or equivalent and either an MSc, Higher Specialist Diploma or equivalent in biomedical science plus additional specialist blood transfusion knowledge.
Responsibilities
You will assist in the management of the Blood Transfusion service providing expert knowledge in the area, managing staff and training and developing and maintaining SOPs.
