Senior Blazor Developer – C#/.NET
4–6 Month Contract | UK Remote - Up to £400 Outside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Senior Blazor Developer to join an established development team on an initial 4–6 month contract.
This role is heavily focused on the front end of modern.NET applications, using Blazor and C# to build responsive, intuitive and maintainable user interfaces. You'll still need a strong understanding of the wider.NET ecosystem and how front-end applications integrate with APIs, databases and Azure services, but we're particularly interested in engineers who have genuinely delivered commercial applications using Blazor.
You'll be joining a small development team working across business-critical internal and customer-facing systems, taking ownership of features from design through to delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and enhancing web applications using Blazor and C#/.NET.
- Building reusable, maintainable UI components and helping establish good front-end development practices.
- Working closely with backend engineers to integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and.NET services.
- Taking existing designs and requirements and turning them into intuitive, responsive user experiences.
- Contributing to technical design and helping shape how applications are structured.
- Working with existing applications as well as supporting the development of new functionality.
- Writing clean, testable and maintainable code.
- Identifying and resolving performance, usability and application issues.
- Working across the full development lifecycle within an Agile engineering team.
- Contributing to code reviews and sharing knowledge with other developers.

What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with C# and modern.NET /.NET Core.
- Strong commercial Blazor experience - ideally Blazor WebAssembly and/or Blazor Server.
- Experience developing modern, responsive web applications and reusable UI components.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and modern front-end development principles.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs.
- Good experience with Entity Framework / EF Core and SQL Server.
- Commercial experience working within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience with source control, Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of software design, SOLID principles and maintainable application architecture.
- Comfortable working autonomously and coming into an established codebase quickly - particularly important given the short-term nature of the engagement.

Particularly useful experience
- Azure Service Bus, Functions, Storage, App Services, DevOps
- MAUI
- React, Angular or TypeScript
- Component libraries such as MudBlazor, Telerik, Syncfusion or Radzen
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Microservices or event-driven systems
- Automated testing of Blazor components, e.g. bUnit
- Experience modernising older.NET applications into Blazor
- AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar
