About Us

We are supporting a well-funded startup in Australia that is building a next-generation blockchain / web3 platform powered by AI technology. The company has strong investor backing and has already launched an initial version of its product. As the platform continues to grow, the team is expanding to support scalable development, seamless collaboration, and rapid product delivery across multiple engineering teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Leader to lead engineering efforts for a key product initiative. You will manage a cross-functional engineering team, collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders, and ensure high-quality product delivery through effective planning and execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will help shape engineering culture, improve development processes, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team, including backend, frontend, mobile, and DevOps engineers.
  • Drive the successful execution of technical initiatives while ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Scrum Masters to define project scope, priorities, and delivery plans.
  • Identify project risks, remove blockers, and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Foster a high-performance engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, dependencies, and resource allocation while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineers, support career development, and encourage technical excellence.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuously improve engineering workflows and development processes.
  • Support architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making for scalable platform development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
