Senior Project Manager
Under the Honeywell Multisite business, division of Honeywell Building Solutions, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing building management (BMS) projects of various sizes, typically for retailers, generally over $250K and is required to provide support and tasking direction to the project technicians and sub-contractors.
This manager role will consist of:
- Administrative tasks
- Scheduling
- Cost & billing forecasting
- Resource planning
- Risk identification
- Change of order management
- Project handover
- Billing and payments
Core duties include subcontract quality management, progress tracking and application for payment management, site engineering coordination and task management, and project planning for assigned activities. Also manages assigned technical work force and customer satisfaction. Most of the projects are fast track and are managed remotely for various international Account customers in Europe.

Responsibilities
- Ensure timely delivery of the projects, within the scope with zero or positive deviation.
- Monitor the project process to identify opportunities for improving the project.
- Maintain customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and resolve customer issues.
- Monitor financial performance monthly basis and review estimates versus actuals across their project deck /progress in percent, cost, revenue, billing, unbilled etc./ continuously improve and install operational metrics.
- Maintain the internal and on-site subcontracting meetings continuous oral and written contact with the customer, designer, technical inspector, subcontractor.
- Develop effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle, and facilities improvement.
- 5% to 10% travel is required.
Qualifications
- Min. 3 years of experience in project management in either building automation industry (BMS) in construction sector or in the retail construction field.
- Engineering / Management degree.
- Thorough knowledge of Project operations and financial processes.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- English language skills are essential.
- Category B license.
- PMI PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM certifications are advantage.
- SAP knowledge a plus.
