Job Opportunity for an Experienced Bookkeeper

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a role that gives you flexibility, autonomy, and genuine work–life balance?

We’re supporting a well-established accounting firm in hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team. If you love numbers, enjoy working with multiple clients, and want a role that values your expertise, this could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
  • Processing accounts using Xero and/or Excel
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Producing accurate and insightful management reports
  • Liaising directly with clients to support their financial needs
  • Communicating with HMRC, Companies House, and partner accountants as required

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/accounts processing experience, ideally in a multi-client environment
  • Proficiency with Xero (advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
