Responsibilities

As a Senior Bookkeeper you will:

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed business clients.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and oversee all day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Review and reconcile bank, credit card, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Support clients with accounting systems, including Sage, Xero, and associated cloud applications.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, challenging unusual transactions where appropriate.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to maintain high departmental standards.
