Job Overview
To support the business and Finance director in ensuring all financial management tasks are completed accurately, in a timely manner and bringing a fresh, positive outlook to the business. Attention to detail is paramount along with self-motivation and desire to achieve. Full time, office based.
Systems/experience required
- Excel – intermediate level or above
- Word & Outlook– intermediate level or above
- Group Accounting experience
- Management accounts experience
- Audit experience
- Strong VAT Knowledge

Main duties and experience required
- Undertake daily bank reconciliations on all bank accounts.
- Update managers on bank receipts
- Compile and post Car Sales and Purchase Invoices/payments and update accounts system
- Maintain car stock book movements and stock book master files. Update MD regularly with car status reports.
- Running ACNC invoices.
- Putting sales and purchase payments on the bank within the same day and asap payments for car sales; at that time double checking the bank details and raising alarm if anomaly identified
- Preparation of draft monthly management accounts, including journals, intercompany adjustments, reconciliations.
- To reconcile Balance Sheet Control Accounts monthly
- Maintain month and year end file of the main balance sheet accounts
- Process and post monthly petty cash, credit card and expenses.
- Prepare data for year-end audit
- Pension Fund invoicing and keeping records
- Farm invoice payments and reminders to raise invoices as they become due.
- Keeping on top of Debtors

Experience
- Managerial accounting: 2 years (required)
