We're looking for an experienced Senior Brand & Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of our national and local marketing strategy, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand experience across every customer touchpoint.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a collaborative, purpose-led environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for leading our brand strategy and multi-channel marketing activity across both national and local campaigns.
Working closely with operational leaders, digital teams, agencies and practice colleagues, you'll ensure our marketing activity delivers meaningful business outcomes while protecting and enhancing the CVS brand.
You'll lead a talented team of marketing professionals, champion creativity, and use data and insight to continuously improve performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and executing CVS Group's brand and marketing strategy across all channels.
- Leading integrated omni-channel campaigns including digital, PPC, social, print and in-practice marketing.
- Acting as the guardian of the CVS brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across customer communications.
- Partnering with Operations, Digital, PR and senior stakeholders to align marketing activity with business objectives.
- Managing and developing a team of Marketing Executives, Specialists and an in-house Graphic Designer.
- Monitoring campaign performance and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Driving customer engagement, retention and acquisition through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Managing customer communications, CRM strategy and database integrity.
- Overseeing agency relationships and ensuring maximum value from external partners.
- Managing budgets effectively while identifying opportunities for optimisation and efficiency.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

About You
We're looking for someone who can confidently balance strategic leadership with operational delivery.
You'll Bring
- Significant experience in brand management and marketing leadership.
- A proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders.
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Strong analytical capability and experience using data to drive decisions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, content creation and customer journey management.
- Experience managing agencies and external suppliers.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience within veterinary, healthcare, retail or customer-focused multi-site organisations would be advantageous.
