Introducing the Trainline Brand Team 👋

The Brand team sits at the heart of how Trainline shows up in the world, shaping the perceptions of millions of customers, building lasting brand equity, and ensuring everything we put out is as distinctive and purposeful as the product behind it. As Interim Senior Brand Manager

In this role, you will...

  • Translate global brand and proposition strategy into locally relevant, growth-driving execution, ensuring our brand platform is embedded consistently across all customer touchpoints.
  • Own the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated campaigns from brief to launch, balancing short-term commercial needs with long-term brand building.
  • Lead and challenge creative agency partners to produce standout, distinctive work, acting as the internal champion for courageous, high-quality creative across every brief, review, and execution.
  • Drive strong go-to-market execution for key product and proposition launches, ensuring cohesive and impactful delivery across all brand touchpoints.
  • Set clear campaign objectives and partner with Data Science and Insights to embed robust measurement, testing, and optimisation from the outset.
  • Own UK brand tracking, translating insight into clear action and continuously improving campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Manage the UK brand budget with strong financial discipline, maintaining high standards across briefing, creative appraisal, and execution governance.
  • Line manage and coach junior members of the team, building a culture of high standards, considered risk-taking, and test-and-learn marketing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
