Marvel FMCG has been retained by Twinings

A leading name in both hot and cold wellbeing drinks, empowering millions of people to get the most out of life. Over the past four years they've repositioned the brand as a leader in wellbeing — through strong innovation, including their move into cold sparkling tea, and step-change marketing backed by serious media investment. The result: standout growth, and the number one tea brand among under-35s and in London.

They've built an organisation designed to be in flow, where everyone has a pivotal role to play. With real momentum behind them, they're now entering the next phase of growth. That's the business you'd be joining.

The role

This is an innovation-led Senior Brand Manager role, with responsibility for developing and delivering the premium portfolio growth agenda.

It's a portfolio role with a strong focus on bringing innovation and renovation projects to market. You'll help identify growth opportunities, develop compelling propositions, and work cross-functionally to deliver launches that drive the portfolio forward. You'll contribute to longer-term portfolio thinking, but success here comes from turning plans into action and delivering results in market.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading innovation and renovation projects from idea through to launch, working closely with R&D, Insights, Category, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.
  • Building business cases and project recommendations using consumer insight, market data and commercial analysis.
  • Managing the innovation pipeline and supporting delivery of the brand growth plan.
  • Developing product propositions, pack designs and launch plans that create value for consumers and customers.
  • Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying opportunities to improve, optimise or renovate existing products.
  • Supporting portfolio and category reviews with insight-led recommendations on future opportunities.
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full and within budget.
  • Staying connected to consumer trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities within tea, wellness and beverage categories.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who Twinings is looking for

You've built brands in FMCG and you've got the NPD track record to prove it — ideally with a feel for challenger or wellbeing categories, though it's the instinct that matters more than the exact background. Your creativity and curiosity know no bounds; you're always stretching into new spaces. You see solutions where others see barriers, especially when regulation gets tricky.

You can balance the bigger picture with the practical realities of delivery. You're comfortable moving between consumer insight, commercial evaluation and project execution, and you enjoy working with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.

You thrive on making things happen. You enjoy managing multiple projects, influencing stakeholders and navigating complexity to deliver results. Whether it's progressing a new product launch, solving challenges along the development journey, or spotting opportunities within the existing range, you're motivated by turning ideas into commercial success.
