Company Description

Rodd’s was born from a simple frustration: bottled iced coffee that never actually tastes like iced coffee. So, we set out to fix it. While our competitors all focus on similar outcomes, we focus on what really matters: innovative, fresh, natural, barista-quality iced coffee that’s genuinely refreshing. Cold from the moment it's brewed to the moment you drink it. No nonsense. Just iced coffee in a bottle that tastes like iced coffee not in a bottle.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to help decide where Rodd’s goes next — and how we get there.

You’ll own the brand strategy and vision, defining where we play, how we win and what it takes to build sustainable growth in market share.

Our focus is simple: more Rodd’s in more places, for more people — whether that’s at home, out and about, or wherever great iced coffee belongs.

But this isn’t just a growth role.

You’ll work closely with our CEO and Creative Director to shape Rodd’s tone, positioning and purpose, while owning the annual brand and marketing strategy. You’ll need to be commercially sharp, creatively minded and deeply curious about consumers and culture.

Basically, you’ll need to care about both the numbers and the vibe.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • See the bigger picture. Spot trends, understand where the category is heading and identify the opportunities that could make a real difference. Turn all of that into a clear, ambitious long-term brand strategy.
  • Know our consumer. Properly. Develop a deep understanding of Rodd’s consumers and personas. Get under the skin of what they want, what they’re missing and what might make them choose Rodd’s again.
  • Find the growth. Understand category trends, competitors and consumer behaviour to identify where we can win — bringing new consumers into the category while growing loyalty, repeat purchase and items per transaction among existing ones.
  • Protect the brand. Approve campaigns and sign off creative direction alongside the Creative Director. Make sure everything we put into the world feels unmistakably Rodd’s, wherever someone encounters us.
  • Own the plan. Lead the annual Rodd’s brand planning process, turning the bigger strategy into clear priorities, plans and action.
  • Put the money where it matters. Own the marketing budget. Decide where investment can have the biggest impact, measure the return and be willing to move spend when the numbers tell you to.
  • Build what’s next. Spot opportunities for innovation and range expansion while continuing to get the most out of our existing portfolio. Lead Innovation/NPD from opportunity through to launch, keeping things on budget and on time.
  • Take it to the board. Present consumer, brand and marketing outcomes to the board with clarity, confidence and a strong point of view.
  • Build a brilliant team. Coach and develop your direct reports, create better marketing processes and set clear priorities. Help the team do better work — and know when to get out of their way.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

But experience alone isn’t what we’re looking for.

We want someone who:

  • Has a great sense of humour, cultural awareness and excellent creative taste.
  • Understands Gen Z and youth culture — including trends, humour, language and internet behaviour.
  • Experience using market research, consumer insights, and performance data to inform decisions and optimise brand activities.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects, work with external agencies, and coordinate timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Has strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Is a strong leader and communicator, with experience developing people, building brands and putting structure in place.
  • Is curious, has strong judgement and is comfortable when there isn't an obvious answer.
  • Is passionate about consumer brands — and ideally has some serious opinions about iced coffee.

The Important Bit

We’re not looking for someone to simply manage a brand.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build one.

Someone who can move between consumer insight, a P&L, a creative idea and a boardroom without losing the plot.

Someone who knows that sustainable growth takes strategy, great execution and a brand people actually want to be part of.

If you’re ready to take on a role that’s equal parts creative, strategic and hands-on, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s make something unforgettable.
