Senior Brand Manager

Location: London

About the Role

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Brand Manager will act as the UK brand lead, responsible for translating global strategy into local success through exceptional brand building, retail partnerships, and consumer engagement. Working across key retailers, boutiques, and cross-functional teams, you will drive brand awareness, market share growth, and brand desirability while delivering best-in-class execution across every consumer touchpoint.

This role is ideal for an ambitious, entrepreneurial marketer who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and a passion for luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Growth

  • Lead the development and execution of the UK brand strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and local market opportunities.
  • Develop annual brand and activation plans that accelerate brand awareness, market share, and long-term brand equity.
  • Lead the local implementation of product launches and brand campaigns, ensuring excellence in execution across all channels.
  • Act as the guardian of brand equity, ensuring all activity reflects the brand's luxury positioning and standards.
  • Support the Marketing Director in annual brand planning, taking into account category trends, brand performance and retailer growth strategies.

Omnichannel Marketing

  • Develop retailer-specific marketing plans that drive visibility, consumer engagement, and commercial performance across department stores, flagship locations, boutique environments, and digital channels.
  • Partner with Commercial team to identify growth opportunities, optimise distribution, visibility, productivity and build joint business plans with key retail partners.
  • Lead the development of omnichannel marketing programs that connect retail, digital, CRM and advocacy activity to create a seamless consumer journey.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the brand's digital presence across retailer websites, ensuring best-in-class content, visibility, search performance, and online consumer experience.
  • Monitor retailer e-commerce performance and digital KPIs, leveraging insights to optimise investment and accelerate growth opportunities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to elevate the in-store consumer journey and strengthen brand visibility within the prestige fragrance landscape.

Retail Experience & Visual Merchandising

  • Partner with local and global Visual Merchandising teams to bring the brand to life through impactful retail experiences.
  • Deliver exceptional execution across permanent retail installations, animations, pop-ups, windows, seasonal campaigns, and boutique environments.
  • Ensure all retail executions are delivered to the highest standards and consistently reinforce the brand's luxury image.
  • Monitor retail environments and identify opportunities to enhance visibility, consumer engagement, and overall brand presence.

Commercial Performance & Consumer Insights

  • Monitor brand, category, retailer, and competitor performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into actionable growth strategies and recommendations.
  • Deliver regular brand performance reporting, tracking key KPIs and investment effectiveness.
  • Champion data-driven decision making to optimise business and brand performance.

Budget Management & Investment Planning

  • Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring investment aligns with strategic priorities and business objectives.
  • Evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI to inform future investment decisions.
  • Support annual planning and forecasting processes in partnership with Marketing Director.

PR, Influencer & Advocacy

  • Collaborate with global PR and influencer teams to ensure local activations align with global frameworks and best practices.
  • Develop advocacy programmes that drive awareness, consideration, and desirability amongst target luxury consumers.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and continuously optimise activity based on performance insights.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Marketing Director, contributing to overall UK growth plans.
  • Lead and develop the Brand Manager, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
  • Manage PR and influencer agency partners to deliver impactful communications aligned with brand objectives.
  • Build strong relationships across Global Brand, Commercial, Retail, Finance, and agency teams to drive business success.

Profile & Competencies

  • 6+ years' experience in Brand Management, Trade Marketing, or Marketing within the beauty, fragrance, or luxury sectors.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Experience managing agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and budget management experience.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Commercially minded with a strong growth mentality.
  • Energetic and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equally comfortable operating strategically and executing hands-on.
