Help Shape the Future of the UK's Leading Seafood Brand

Role Overview

As Senior Brand Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth and long-term success of Young's, one of the UK's most recognised and trusted seafood brands.

Working at the heart of our Marketing team, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering brand strategies that strengthen our position with consumers, drive category growth and unlock new commercial opportunities. From innovation and product pipeline development to high-impact marketing campaigns, you'll help ensure Young's continues to evolve with changing consumer needs while staying true to what makes the brand so loved.

This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence business decisions, shape brand direction and work collaboratively with teams across Marketing, Commercial, Category, Innovation and Product Development.

Based in our new European HQ in Leeds, there will be regular travel to Grimsby required.

Key Duties

You will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of Young's brand strategy, driving sustainable growth and market leadership.
  • Identify consumer, shopper and category opportunities that strengthen brand performance and support commercial objectives.
  • Own innovation and renovation pipelines, bringing insight-led product opportunities to life.
  • Develop compelling business cases, forecasts and post-launch reviews to support investment decisions.
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, engagement and loyalty.
  • Manage agency partners to create impactful creative, media and research programmes.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of packaging, brand identity and communications.
  • Use consumer, retailer and market insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with Commercial and Category teams to support business planning and growth opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective return on investment.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, influencing stakeholders and championing the Young's brand internally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
