Join our team as a Senior Brand Manager for our Monte Carlo brand (Secondment)

Position Overview:

Accountable for developing and executing both the brand Long Range Plan (LRP, 3-5 years) and in-year plan across the full marketing mix aligned to brand & portfolio strategies. Deliver strategies, plans & activation across; consumer marketing activity, new pack formats, brand-in-channel strategies & through the line marketing plans tailored by formats & channels to enable ‘toolkit’ execution with our customers consumer and channel. To develop core marketing skills, disciplines and experience towards Marketing Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the brand and develop the annual and 3-5 year Brand Plan, including Consumer & Shopper propositions & activation for all channels & key customers, target Occasions/Missions and target Channel/Outlet, consumer/shopper metrics, volume and profit assumptions, pack & price plan & all 5P recommendations and investment strategy based on scale-up position. Execute consumer marketing activity from brief to consumer & in-customer implementation.
  • Manage the development of brand-in-channel strategies & deliver strong through the line marketing plans tailored by formats & channels to enable ‘toolkit’ execution with our customers.
  • To develop comprehensive insight into performance of the brand including critical inputs and outputs, using this to highlight risks and opportunities and course correcting where needed to deliver the LRP.
  • Full accountability for the brand’s performance outlined in the annual brand budget. As well as Brand Health, you are also responsible for all levels of the P&L, able to work across departments to understand and input into all areas, providing timely and accurate monthly forecasts including risks and opportunities as and when required. You will expertly lead full management of the total brand budget – consumer and customer activation.
  • Build and deliver the 12-24m TTL Communication plans effectively and creatively; expertly using the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) process, leading the 3rd party all agency partners to create consumer connected activity that drives Brand Equity measures. Understand & lead for when & how to scale plans up in line with distribution achieved. KPI setting for all activity, as part of Marketing Spend Effectiveness (ROI), taking learning to help shape future plans. Leverage exceptional technical marketing skillset to ensure one visual world, grounded in the Brand Profile is presented across all Touch Points.
  • A rounded self-starter able to work independently and at all levels of brand management through ruthless prioritization & focus (from creating brand strategy one day, to highly targeted outlet customer activations the next). Able to influence the wider business to support focus on the right things for the brand to enable the brand to shout loudly in the wider portfolio.
  • Lead ongoing relationship and stakeholder management of the 2 founders including oversight / approval of their own regional (South of France) brand marketing & export plans.

Key Shared Accountabilities

  • Partnership with Category & Insight to help inform decisions to deliver sustainable brand growth
  • Working closely with Project & Digital team to deliver OTIF
  • Collaboration with Customer Activation and Sales leads to ensure we are delivering against AOP; proactively offering solutions to in-year opportunities and anticipating risks

Required:

  • Capability to develop compelling and effective 3-year long-range brand plans & in-year plans across all 5Ps that drive sustainable brand and commercial growth.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience managing brand P&Ls and budgets, connecting brand challenges to commercial outcomes and value creation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external agency partners & brand founders to deliver motivating and aligned brand plans.
  • Essential to this role is proactively managing your sales, customer activation & board-level stakeholders with gravitas at all levels to ensure alignment of plans, performance & activities.
  • Proven ability to expertly influence cross-functional & external stakeholders to ensure high levels of alignment, engagement, and execution of brand strategies.
  • A rounded self-starter able to work independently and at all levels of brand management (consumer & customer, strategy & execution).
  • Budget Ownership: Managing and optimizing large-scale complex budgets.

Preferred:

  • Brand Management (FMCG) experience – challenger, scale-up &/or upper-premium brand building experience preferred.
  • Experience in building 3-year compelling and effective long-range brand plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to take insight and other inputs to craft excellent IMC briefs to represent the challenge and opportunity for a brand.
  • Experience in Communications & Media planning.

Pay and Benefits:

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do. Our Total Rewards package includes a base salary of £59,900.00 - £78,600.00 (posting salary range) plus a 9.25% target annual bonus, alongside a comprehensive benefits offering designed to support different needs and life stages. Benefits are flexible and include health, dental and vision coverage, a pension with up to 10% employer match, wellbeing support, an Employee Assistance Programme, life leave, and 31 days’ annual leave plus 3 bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell additional holiday.

The salary range shown above reflects what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Final pay is based on a number of non-discriminatory factors, such as required work location, previous experience, skills and internal equity.
