Senior Brand Manager | 12-Month FTC Maternity Cover

📍 Bracknell/Hybrid- 1 day per week in the office
💰 £69,000–£65,000 +
đź“… November 2026 start | 12-month maternity cover

We’re partnering again with a well-established global consumer healthcare/cosmetic brand to recruit a Senior Brand Manager to lead its UK marketing activity on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager-level consumer marketer to take genuine ownership of a high-profile UK business and work closely with the Country Manager to drive growth, innovation and brand performance.

The UK is a key market for the business, and this role will have broad responsibility across the full brand portfolio. It’s a hands-on position in a lean, entrepreneurial team, so we’re looking for someone who can operate autonomously, make decisions and turn strategy into action.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for driving the UK marketing agenda, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution across the full consumer journey.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the local marketing strategy and annual plans, adapting global brand strategy to UK consumer and market needs.
  • Monitoring the consumer, category and competitive landscape and translating insights into clear commercial actions.
  • Tracking brand, category, competitor, media and market performance to identify opportunities to defend, attack and optimise.
  • Supporting the product portfolio strategy, including range, channel and pricing decisions, in close partnership with the Country Manager.
  • Evaluating and supporting new product development and innovation, assessing consumer and category opportunities.
  • Developing local activation plans and ensuring consistent brand messaging and creative across key touchpoints.
  • Supporting full-funnel media strategy and planning against agreed KPIs.
  • Representing the UK market with regional and global teams, ensuring local consumer and customer needs are understood.
  • Developing compelling sell-in presentations for retailers across both NPD and existing product ranges.
  • Managing pack artwork and ensuring relevant regulatory requirements are met.
  • Working cross-functionally to deliver the UK business targets across net revenue, market share and innovation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • A solid understanding of the 4Ps of marketing and proven experience delivering local market plans and activations.

  • Exposure to innovation / NPD, either through direct ownership or influencing the development process.
  • Experience working with retailers and presenting to senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to use business metrics to prioritise activity and identify opportunities.
