ABOUT THE ROLE
House of YO is a connectivity and distribution business with compute layered on top. We sell mobile plans, data, top-ups, and YOYO$ rewards to prepaid users in the United States and Mexico, through an app.
Almost everything we sell happens inside that app. Getting the user back into it is this role. You own Braze and everything that goes out of it: mobile push, in-app messages, content cards, and SMS. Onboarding, activation, top-up reminders, re-engagement, win-back.
YOlanda is our AI concierge. She runs the conversation once the user is inside. You run everything before that. The push that brings someone back on day three, the in-app that explains a plan change, the content card that surfaces a YOYO$ balance worth spending. Where the two meet, the handoff has to be clean. The message sets an expectation and YOlanda meets it on the other side of the tap.
Most of our users are on prepaid plans and count every dollar. A message that wastes their attention costs us the permission to send the next one. Sending less and converting more is the job.
You will not manage anyone. You will be in the dashboard every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the lifecycle map and build it in Canvas Flow — onboarding, activation, top-up reminders, re-engagement, win-back, and churn saves.
- Run the native mobile channels (push, in-app, content cards) and use SMS where it earns its cost. Set the frequency policy: caps, quiet hours, and control groups.
- Write Liquid and build custom in-app messages in HTML/CSS that render on old Android and new iPhone alike.
- Own deep linking and pull real-time data with Connected Content so balances, prices, and offers are always current at send time.
- Ship every campaign in Spanish and English, written to the same standard — not translated.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests, then report conversions and revenue inside a defined window, not open rates alone.
- Keep the workspace clean: naming conventions, segment hygiene, and documentation the next person can read.

WHAT YOU NEED
- 3+ years running high-volume mobile engagement campaigns hands-on in Braze.
- Mobile depth: iOS/Android push permissions, provisional push, deep link schemas, APNs, and FCM.
- Liquid you can write without a reference open, plus HTML/CSS for custom in-app messages.
- The ability to read Braze reporting, set a meaningful conversion window, and follow a cohort over time.
- Bilingual Spanish and English, written to the same standard in both.
- Care for the user at the other end — prepaid users count every dollar and every notification.
Nice to have: Braze Certified Marketing Specialist or Strategy Expert; SQL, Currents, or a warehouse; CDP work (Segment, mParticle); attribution (Branch, AppsFlyer); telecoms, prepaid, or fintech.
