We are seeking an experienced Senior Broker to join our International Property team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and developing a portfolio of complex and material property placements across London and international insurance markets. Working alongside an established team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client outcomes, building strong insurer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to the continued development of our International Property proposition.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team that has achieved significant success in a relatively short period of time and continues to build momentum. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex international placements, collaborate with colleagues across WTW's global network, and help shape the future strategy and growth of the business.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of clients' businesses, risk profiles, strategic objectives and challenges in order to design and execute effective placement strategies.
  • Structuring, negotiating and placing complex property risks across London and international insurance markets.
  • Delivering innovative and bespoke placement solutions tailored to clients' needs, leveraging expertise from across WTW including Broking, Client Management, Claims, Risk & Analytics, Sales and Wordings specialists.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers, underwriters and key internal stakeholders.
  • Leading market negotiations to secure optimal terms, conditions and pricing for clients.
  • Supporting and driving new business activity through identifying opportunities, building relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
  • Preparing and delivering client and prospect presentations to support growth and retention objectives.
  • Contributing to business planning activities and helping shape the ongoing development and growth strategy of the International Property team.
  • Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of future opportunities through proactive market engagement and relationship management.
  • Providing technical expertise, market insight and subject matter support to colleagues and clients where required.
  • Building a strong internal and external network across WTW, the insurance market and relevant industry specialists.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of market developments, emerging risks and industry trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with WTW policies, procedures, FCA requirements and regulatory obligations at all times.
  • Demonstrating effective utilisation of all relevant systems, tools and broking platforms.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive Property Insurance broking experience with strong exposure to International Property risks and placements.
  • Deep understanding of London and international insurance markets, with established insurer and broker market relationships.
  • Proven track record of winning and developing business while delivering exceptional client outcomes.
  • Strong technical, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with multinational clients and stakeholders across global markets.
  • ACII qualified or working towards qualification preferred.
  • Commitment to working in accordance with FCA requirements and WTW values.
