The Opportunity
On behalf of a leading international marine insurance brokerage, we are seeking a high-calibre Senior Broker to join their London team.
Key Responsibilities
- As a pivotal member of the London team, you will navigate the complexities of the Lloyd’s and London markets to deliver bespoke solutions for a global client base.
- Market Placement: Lead the negotiation and placement of complex risks, including Cargo, H&M, and P&I.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate long-standing partnerships with both prestigious shipping clients and key London Market underwriters.
- Global Collaboration: Work in tandem with international business development teams to ensure a seamless service across continental borders.
- Strategic Growth: Leverage your network to expand placing channels and identify new market opportunities.

Your Profile
We are looking for a commercially-minded broker who thrives in a collaborative, international environment.
- Experience: 10+ years of dedicated Marine Insurance experience (Broking or Underwriting) within the Lloyd’s/London Market.
- Technical Expertise: Robust knowledge of Marine hulls, liability, and cargo products.
- Network: An established "black book" of senior contacts across the shipping, energy, or commodity trading sectors.
- Soft Skills: A master negotiator with the ability to translate complex market trends into actionable advice for clients.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
