The Role
As a Senior Building Services Manager (M&E), you will play a key role in managing the design, co-ordination, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems across our projects. You’ll work closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and co-ordinate all M&E services from pre-construction through to handover
- Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and installation plans
- Liaise with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of services
- Oversee on-site installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction
- Monitor progress and report on M&E milestones and risks
- Manage all M&E personnel including staff and subcontractors, whilst liaising closely with project management

About You
To be considered for the role of Senior Building Services Manager, you will need to demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing the installation of building services, ideally within complex, large-scale projects
- Impeccable knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong people skills and team leadership
- Complete IT literacy and organisational skills are essential
