A leading property developer is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Building Services Manager to join the team delivering a landmark £300 million mixed-use development in Bristol.

Working on site, you'll be responsible for leading the successful installation, coordination and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services. Reporting into the Building Services Project Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day delivery of the building services works, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the on-site delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) works
  • Managing Building Services Managers, specialist MEP subcontractors and site teams
  • Coordinating building services activities with the construction, design and commercial teams
  • Monitoring installation progress, quality standards and project programme
  • Reviewing technical drawings and resolving on-site coordination issues
  • Driving commissioning, testing and handover activities to achieve successful project completion
  • Ensuring all works comply with Building Regulations, health & safety legislation and project specifications
  • Reporting progress, technical issues and programme updates to the Building Services Project Manager and wider project team

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Senior Building Services Manager or Building Services Manager delivering major construction projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems
  • Experience managing specialist MEP subcontractors on large-scale construction projects
  • Previous experience working for a main contractor, developer or specialist MEP contractor
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • HNC, HND or Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Good understanding of commissioning, testing and project handover processes
