About the Company
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Senior Building Surveyor.
About the Role
Permanent position. This role will be based in Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad range of professional and project-based building surveying services.
- Undertake PPM surveys, condition surveys, technical due diligence and building pathology investigations.
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, technical reports and Reinstatement Cost Assessments.
- Manage maintenance, repair, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects.
- Act as Contract Administrator under JCT and SBCC forms of contract.
- Prepare Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations.
- Provide clear technical advice and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.

Ideal Qualifications
- Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
Required Skills
- Broad experience delivering professional building surveying services.
- Strong knowledge of construction technology, building pathology and PPM programmes.
- Experience managing refurbishment projects and administering JCT or SBCC contracts.
- Strong technical reporting, organisation and client-management skills.
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.
- Competence using Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple instructions.
- Full UK driving licence.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary £45,000–£75,000 (depending on experience) + performance-related bonus + professional development support + additional benefits.
