We’re growing our Building Surveying team in our thriving Leeds office, building on its outstanding success within an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy. With a strong and expanding pipeline of work across Yorkshire and the wider region, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and make a real impact.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our Building Surveying offering in Leeds, contributing to an established and ambitious team while helping to deliver high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Building Surveyor who is looking to take on greater responsibility, expand their client relationships, and further develop their career within a leading consultancy.

Our projects span the education, healthcare, public sector, residential, commercial, industrial, and insurance sectors, providing variety and challenge in equal measure. You’ll focus on technical excellence, project delivery, and building strong client relationships, while supporting the continued growth and success of the team.

What We’re Looking For

A motivated and experienced Building Surveyor with a proven track record in project delivery, who is eager to grow their client-facing responsibilities and contribute to business development. If you enjoy collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines, taking ownership of projects, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, we’d love to hear from you.

Main Duties

  • Delivering a wide range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on project work
  • Managing projects and coordinating our in-house multi-disciplinary design services
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business
  • Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team
  • Undertaking technical reviews to ensure the highest standards of service delivery
  • Contributing to business development activities and helping to strengthen our presence across the region

The Skills And Experience You Need

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification)
  • Consultancy experience, ideally with exposure to public sector and commercial projects
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business development activities
  • Ability to manage projects independently and prioritise your workload effectively
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Strong technical building surveying knowledge across a variety of sectors
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-considered reports and recommendations
