The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of professional and project-based services to an established portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Delivering professional building surveying services across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and public sector properties.
- Undertaking building surveys, defect diagnosis, dilapidations, schedules of condition, and technical due diligence.
- Managing refurbishment, alteration and maintenance projects from inception through to completion.
- Preparing specifications, tender documentation, and contract administration duties.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.
- Assisting with business development activities and helping to identify new opportunities.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is MRICS qualified (or approaching qualification with significant relevant experience).
- Has a proven background within Building Surveying consultancy.
- Possesses strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Is confident managing client relationships and leading projects.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
