An award-winning and highly respected construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their growing London team.

The Role

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying services to an established client base. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contract Administration duties under JCT contracts
  • Managing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects from inception to completion
  • Undertaking building surveys and preparing technical reports
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of works and tender documentation
  • Employer's Agent and project management duties where required
  • Defect diagnosis and providing practical solutions
  • Supporting clients across fire safety remediation and compliance projects
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Proven experience within a consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of JCT Contract Administration
  • Experience delivering projects within social housing, education, public sector, or fire safety sectors
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
