A global project consultancy is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its growing Leicester team. Working across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure, and public sector projects, this organisation has established a reputation for delivering high-quality property and construction consultancy services both nationally and internationally.

Your new role
As a Building Surveyor, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to both professional and project-based surveying work whilst building your competency towards MRICS qualification.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting building surveys and defect diagnosis.
- Preparing condition surveys and technical reports.
- Assisting with contract administration and project delivery.
- Producing specifications and schedules of work.
- Supporting refurbishment, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- Undertaking measured surveys and inspections.
- Providing professional advice to a varied client base.
- Working closely with senior surveyors to develop your technical expertise and APC competencies.

What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within a consultancy, client-side, or construction environment.
- Currently working towards APC or looking to commence the APC process.
- A genuine passion for building surveying and professional development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
