Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) London | Hybrid Working | Clear Route to Director

Are you an ambitious MRICS Building Surveyor looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career? Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their London office and work closely with the Regional Director, helping to shape and grow an already successful team.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine leadership opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor who wants more than just project delivery. You'll play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to the strategic growth of the London building consultancy team. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects and professional instruction for a range of high-profile clients, including education providers, healthcare organisations and Tier 1 housebuilders.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad range of professional building surveying services
- Lead and manage complex surveying commissions across multiple sectors
- Undertake cladding remediation projects from inception through to completion
- Provide Party Wall services and professional consultancy advice
- Prepare specifications, schedules of works and contract administration services
- Conduct defect diagnosis, condition surveys and technical due diligence
- Support business development activities and maintain key client relationships
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Work closely with the Regional Director to support the growth of the London business
About You
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
- Proven experience within a consultancy environment
- Strong background in project-led building surveying work
- Experience delivering cladding remediation and/or external wall projects
- Party Wall experience highly desirable
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
- Ambitious and motivated by long-term career progression
