Our client is a consultancy looking to expand their Liverpool office with a focused and passionate Senior Building Surveyor/Project Manager.
The successful candidate will be working alongside other Building Surveyors/Project Managers in the team to mentor them and be able to independently take on professional and project-related instructions to achieve objectives on behalf of a variety of prestigious clients. You will be actively involved in client development, financial management and the continued growth of the business.
They are looking for a candidate who already possesses at least 2+ years post MRICS qualification with a good level of technical Building Surveying / Project Management experience in private consultancy who is ambitious, hardworking, organised and has strong communication skills.

About your role
- A good team player who is willing to work hard with an ambition to develop their career into Senior Management.
- Commercial awareness is essential for being successful in this role.
- Ensuring that all project work is in full compliance with relevant statutory requirements/standards and regulations, as well our client's needs.
- Providing full Contract Administrator/Project Manager roles (as required) on project works.
- Providing a variety of building surveys including measured surveys, condition surveys, specific defect surveys and planned preventative maintenance surveys.
- Providing full architectural design solutions and producing detailed technical reports.
- Providing party wall, dilapidations and other landlord and tenant related services to our clients.
- Providing technical services for fire safety and facade remediation projects.
- Providing technical services for building insurance repair and reinstatement works.
- Maintaining and monitoring financial performance of projects.
- Providing a full range of professional and project instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail, leisure and residential.
- Taking particulars on site, writing up specifications, obtaining estimates, and administering building work contracts.
- Client management and development.
- Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Providing with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required.
- To be aware of the requirements of Quality Assurance and to comply with all QA procedures.
- Full clean UK driving licence including own transport preferable.
