Senior Level Building Surveyor (MRICS)
Required to support in the delivery of consultancy services for an established team in the Southwest region (Bristol Office). You should be experienced in providing both professional and project delivery building surveying services working across a good breadth of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Retail, Leisure, Heritage and Corporate Real Estate sectors.
Our Service Offering
- Programmes of survey instructions that include condition, planned preventative maintenance, dilapidations, investment due diligence and defect surveys.
- Programmes of refurbishment and maintenance project delivery/management and contract administration commissions.
- Specialist services to include party wall and bank/fund monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Preparing feasibility studies and recommendations.
- Scoping, estimating and presenting reports.
- Undertaking surveys, design and specification services.
- Respecting and help delivering services in accordance with best practice (and all legislation) in relation to asbestos, health and safety etc.
- Preparing a timely and effective post contract administration and final account agreement.
- Taking personal responsibility for service delivery.
- Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
- Working with associate directors and directors to construct bids for new work.
- Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the internal database.
- Assisting with new technology for data capture and reporting.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the consultancy business of Mace across all sectors.

Requirements
- Previous building surveying experience in a consultancy or client environment
- Technical knowledge and competency in building surveying.
- Good negotiation, presentation and report writing skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- A relevant degree is beneficial.
- Professional membership i.e. MRICS (Essential).
