Job Title: Senior Business Advisor

About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Capital Markets Post-Trade Practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic client engagements, supporting regulatory reporting remediation initiatives, and helping shape the growth and capabilities of the practice.
The role requires strong expertise in trade and transaction reporting regulations, business analysis, stakeholder management, and regulatory change delivery within capital markets environments. The individual will work directly with senior leadership and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across complex regulatory programs.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role: Business Analysis
- Conduct detailed issue analysis, root cause investigations, impact assessments, and data lineage reviews.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and regulatory requirements for reporting remediation initiatives.
- Translate regulatory obligations into clear business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
Regulatory Analysis
- Support remediation of reporting issues across major EMEA regulatory frameworks including:
- MiFID II
- EMIR
- SFTR
- Analyse reporting gaps and define corrective actions aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and latest regulatory rewrites, refits, and industry guidance.
Your Skills
Essential
- 8+ years of experience in Trade & Transaction Reporting within:
- Investment Banking
- Asset Management
- Financial Market Infrastructure
- Consulting
- Financial Services Providers
- Extensive experience in Business Analysis and regulatory reporting programs.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets post-trade processes and operating models.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Regulatory Change
- Operations Transformation
- Process Re-engineering
- Technology Transformation
- Data & Analytics
- Controls Frameworks
- Regulatory Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of multiple trade and transaction reporting regulations, including:
- MiFID II
- EMIR
- SFTR
- CFTC Reporting
- ASIC Reporting
- MAS Reporting
- Experience with regulatory rewrites, refits, and remediation programs is highly desirable.

Desirable
- Detailed expertise in at least one asset class such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, or Derivatives.
- Experience supporting large-scale reporting remediation initiatives.
- Prior consulting experience within Capital Markets transformation programs.
