We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance Modernisation team, on a 12 month fixed term contract based from the NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire!
The Role

You’ll join an experienced, supportive team in an evolving environment where your ideas are welcomed, and you’ll have the space and guidance needed to grow, innovate, and continuously improve our ways of working.
What You’ll Take On
- Partner with cross-functional systems teams to capture, document, and evaluate business requirements, assessing their wider impact across the organisation.
- Work closely with development teams to translate operational and functional needs into clear technical specifications.
- Research, analyse, and propose practical process enhancements and system solutions that deliver maximum value.
- Produce clear, comprehensive documentation for all system changes and business processes.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with finance stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and alignment at every stage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
