Role: Business Analyst with Finance Systems experience

Location: Leicestershire (Hybrid) - 3 days on site
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Employment Contract
Immediate start

We're looking for a talented Business Analyst to join our growing Finance Systems team and play a key role in transforming how finance technology supports the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BA with strong finance process expertise to partner with stakeholders, influence system improvements, and drive meaningful change across a modernising technology landscape. You'll work at the intersection of business and technology, helping to deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and create lasting value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and define business requirements.
  • Document current and future-state processes, functional requirements, and solution options.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into effective system solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and user experience.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including requirements, user stories, workflows, and business cases.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to support successful delivery of change initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Finance Systems or financial business processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and writing user stories.
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials is highly desirable
