Senior Business Analyst - FX Payments & Execution
Location: London (50% onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Initial Contract
Rate: Competitive (via umbrella)

Overview
We're supporting a leading investment banking client in the search for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-profile FX technology and change function. This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who is comfortable operating across the full project lifecycle, acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams. The successful candidate will work on a range of initiatives across FX Payments, FX Execution and FX Pricing platforms, ensuring business requirements are clearly captured, documented, prioritised and successfully delivered. The role would suit a Business Analyst who is proactive, adaptable and willing to take ownership across multiple workstreams, helping wherever required to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements for enhancements and changes across FX platforms.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage and maintain delivery backlogs, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with development, testing and product teams throughout the change lifecycle.
- Define and support test scenarios, UAT activities and release validation.
- Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and regions where required.
- Support broader change initiatives across FX technology and business functions.

Essential Experience
- Extensive experience working as a Business Analyst within Financial Markets environments.
- Strong knowledge of FX products and markets, including Spot, Forwards and NDFs.
- Experience supporting FX Payments, FX Execution or FX Pricing platforms.
- Proven track record of bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and functional specification experience.
- Experience working closely with software development teams through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and comfortably operate in a fast-paced delivery environment.
