Role: Senior Business Analyst

Location: London hybrid

Fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role as a Senior Business Analyst working with a highly prestigious end client. The Senior Business Analyst will work as part of cross-functional teams and partner closely with business stakeholders to enable successful implementation of change initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst role is a hybrid role with 50% attendance onsite in London required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Working within a project or programme in conjunction with other BAs to complete business analysis activities and artefacts in accordance with the required governance.
  • Working on a product team to define, analyse, refine and enable the delivery of the product roadmap and implementation of product backlog items in collaboration with the product team.
  • Produce or contribute to the production of the BA approach, collaborating and socialising it with stakeholders.
  • Deliver the BA services on the project, programme or product teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology colleagues as well as third parties.
  • Contribute to the development of the BA and Junior BAs on the initiative.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst, operating at overall (SFIA) Level 4, with a working knowledge of the skill levels listed for that level.
  • Extensive experience in eliciting, analysing and managing complex business requirements, working on large-scale transformation projects, using data and insight to influence decision making and drive change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, able to engage large and diverse groups and manage uncertainty effectively.
  • Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle, with practical knowledge of Agile, Product Management and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Skilled in developing and using operating models and business processes, including BPMN 2.0.
  • Experience working within financial institutions and delivering projects related to Banking and payments for at least 5 years with a focus on Trading, Investment, Banking and/or Treasury.
  • Educated to degree level and/or holding a recognised Business Analysis qualification (e.g., BCS BA Diploma, IIBA CBAP) or equivalent experience.
