Senior Business Analyst
London – Hybrid (2 days a week on site)
6 Month Contract (In Scope IR35)
£500 - £600 p/day
Our client is a Consultancy that combines global know-how with local insight to help their clients turn business goals into reality, by offering innovation, automation and organisational design.
Due to an increased workload they are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join on an initial 6 month contract to provide strategic business analysis services to clients and other business partners as required. The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis activities from end-to-end – addressing operational, financial and technological problems, providing analysis, recommendations and project implementation based on the opportunities identified.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will:
- Lead best practice analysis, design, documentation and initiation of business as usual and project processes and workflows. This includes workshops, facilitating discussions, creating and updating analysis documentation such as problem statements and business cases, providing test cases and facilitation, prioritising tasks to ensure efficient and on-time delivery and managing customer and stakeholder relationships
- Produce required project analysis documentation including business cases, value/cost benefits, SWOT analysis, GAP analysis, problem statements, training materials, workflow diagrams, user stories, future state proposals, test plans and decks for decision making
- Support leadership and peers through collaboration with other BA’s such as peer reviews, helping to resolve issues and holding each other accountable for results
- Attend regular meetings with project teams to review project deliverables and deadlines

The Successful Senior Business Analyst will have:

- Previous experience in a similar Senior Business Analyst role working on a variety of projects
- Experience working in a consultancy environment and managing relationships and deliverables for external clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive experience implementing business analysis frameworks and project delivery methodologies
- A Business Analysis qualification (BCS, CBAP or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
