We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our team in London.

The Senior Business Analyst will act as a Business SME, Domain SME, and Solution Partner, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver insurance solutions across Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Customer Servicing.

Primary Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the Policy/PC lifecycle in Underwriting
  • Proven experience working with SAFe / Scaled Agile teams
  • Strong Business Analysis experience within Insurance transformation / rewrite programs
  • Experience translating business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, BRDs, FRDs, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Ability to support Product Owners with backlog refinement, story elaboration, and requirement clarification
  • Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience developing Acceptance Criteria and supporting Quality Assurance / Testing
  • Conceptual knowledge of AWS core services
  • Strong understanding of technology systems, interfaces, data integration, and business processes

  • Act as a Lead Business Analyst and Insurance Domain SME across Life, Property & Casualty (P&C), or Health Insurance initiatives
  • Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and sign-off
  • Perform AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis, identifying gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Flows
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
  • Support Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story elaboration
  • Lead stakeholder workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution reviews
  • Perform impact analysis for enhancements, regulatory changes, and production issues
  • Contribute to Test Strategy, UAT planning, test scenario validation, business testing, and defect triage
  • Drive conversations with customer stakeholders independently and provide clear recommendations
  • Act as the primary liaison between Business, Clients, IT, and Delivery Teams
  • Prepare executive-level summaries, decision documents, and project status updates
  • Mentor Junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA standards, templates, governance, and best practices
