We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our team in London.
The Senior Business Analyst will act as a Business SME, Domain SME, and Solution Partner, working closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver insurance solutions across Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and Customer Servicing.
Primary Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the Policy/PC lifecycle in Underwriting
- Proven experience working with SAFe / Scaled Agile teams
- Strong Business Analysis experience within Insurance transformation / rewrite programs
- Experience translating business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, BRDs, FRDs, and Acceptance Criteria
- Ability to support Product Owners with backlog refinement, story elaboration, and requirement clarification
- Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience developing Acceptance Criteria and supporting Quality Assurance / Testing
- Conceptual knowledge of AWS core services
- Strong understanding of technology systems, interfaces, data integration, and business processes

- Act as a Lead Business Analyst and Insurance Domain SME across Life, Property & Casualty (P&C), or Health Insurance initiatives
- Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle including elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and sign-off
- Perform AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis, identifying gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Flows
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
- Support Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story elaboration
- Lead stakeholder workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution reviews
- Perform impact analysis for enhancements, regulatory changes, and production issues
- Contribute to Test Strategy, UAT planning, test scenario validation, business testing, and defect triage
- Drive conversations with customer stakeholders independently and provide clear recommendations
- Act as the primary liaison between Business, Clients, IT, and Delivery Teams
- Prepare executive-level summaries, decision documents, and project status updates
- Mentor Junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA standards, templates, governance, and best practices
