Senior Business Analyst – AI, Data Products & Integrations
£80,000 + Benefits | Hybrid (Croydon or Manchester) | 2 Days Office
We're recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join an innovative technology business developing AI-powered data products within the Defence and Intelligence sector.
This is an opportunity to work where data is the product, helping transform complex information into actionable intelligence used to support critical decision-making. Sitting within a growing AI and data product team, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects and customer-facing teams to shape next-generation capabilities and drive meaningful outcomes.

The Role
You'll act as the bridge between business and technology, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions that influence product strategy and customer outcomes.
Working across Product, Engineering, Data and Customer Success teams, you'll help shape how information is collected, integrated and delivered through innovative AI-enabled products used by customers across the UK, EMEA and North America.

What You'll Do
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions and requirements gathering activities
- Work closely with Product, Product Solutions and Customer Success teams
- Translate business needs into user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria
- Analyse complex datasets and data flows
- Collaborate with engineering teams on APIs and integrations
- Support backlog refinement, feature definition and Agile delivery
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Perform impact analysis and data-driven decision making
- Help shape innovative AI-enabled products and services
What We're Looking For
- Proven Business Analysis experience in technology, data or product-led environments
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience working with data products, integrations or data platforms
- Good understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL or similar analytical tools
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and relationship-building skills

Working Pattern
- Hybrid working from Croydon or Manchester
- 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
- Standard 9am-5pm working hours
- Occasional collaboration with US-based stakeholders
