Senior Business Analyst (Data Platforms)

Edinburgh, Hybrid (2 - 3 days onsite)
Initial 6 Month Contract - Inside IR35
£450 - £525 p/d

We're working with a leading investment management organisation looking to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the adoption of a new enterprise data platform. The focus is on driving successful business adoption and ensuring the new platform delivers real value across the organisation. You'll work closely with technology and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, improve processes and help embed a modern enterprise data management solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business and technical teams to drive adoption of a new enterprise data platform.
  • Gather and document complex business and data requirements.
  • Analyse data flows, pricing data and enterprise data processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and the business to improve utilisation of the platform.
  • Support the transition from legacy data management tooling to a new strategic solution.
  • Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong data analysis and data modelling experience.
  • Experience working with enterprise data management or data platform solutions.
  • Knowledge of pricing data, market data or data ingestion pipelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

  • Investment management or asset management experience.
  • Previous exposure to MarketEDM or similar Enterprise Data Management platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform adoption and change, rather than purely technical implementation.
