The Opportunity

This role supports the assessment and delivery of commercial opportunities through rigorous analysis of business and financial data. You will translate complex information into clear, decision-ready models and reports that inform new opportunities, monitor live engagements against plan and support client-facing asset valuation work.

The position offers exposure to transaction analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and commercial decision-making, with the scope to manage projects independently and contribute to the development of junior colleagues.

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics or another relevant discipline.
  • Typically two to three years of relevant experience in business analysis, transaction services, corporate finance, valuation, restructuring, consulting or a related analytical environment.
  • Professional qualification, or progress towards one, such as CIMA, CFA or an equivalent credential, is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of building and interpreting financial models and working with complex datasets.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgement.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence using Word and PowerPoint to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical analysis to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
  • Confident presenting your own work and responding constructively to challenge and feedback.
  • Results-focused, proactive and organised, with effective time and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel periodically when required.
  • Additional European language skills, particularly German or Spanish, would be advantageous but are not essential.
