About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst at St. James's Place Management Services, you will provide business analysis within a complex, multi-faceted business environment. You will act as an adviser, bringing to bear your industry experience to operate effectively in a fast-paced business change environment. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop our practice and evolve over time, ensuring our business analysis function remains world-class!
What you'll be doing:
- Developing the suitable artefacts demanded by the project, programme, or value stream
- Communicating and reporting effectively within the programme, project, or value stream and to the wider business analysis practice
- Demonstrating the accurate behaviours and acting as a role model for the BA practice
- Providing mentorship to support the growth and development of our Business Analysis Practice, including guidance, mentoring, and sharing standard methodologies
- Managing the activities of other BAs within the programme, value stream, or project, while ensuring the quality of their work
- Working effectively with the senior project team and collaborators, conducting investigations, planning, and being instrumental in the success of the project
- Managing relationships with collaborators across different levels of seniority, ensuring perspectives are recognized, analysed, and agreement is reached

About you:
You are a highly experienced Business Analyst with a proven track record in delivering complex business and technology changes within investment management environments. You excel at understanding business needs and managing collaborator relationships, and you're passionate about mentoring and coaching less experienced BAs. Your expertise will help build our practice and drive successful implementations.
Essential Criteria:
- Business Analysis experience within Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Investment Management
- Demonstrated success in managing complex business and technology transformations within investment management settings
- Strong experience supporting fund launches, closures, mergers, and restructures
- Deep understanding of collectives, unit trusts, Open Ended Investment Company, and discretionary investment products
- Strong understanding of the investment operating model and key market participants such as Fund Managers, Custodians, Fund Administrators, Transfer Agents, Brokers, Platforms, and Market Data Providers
- Knowledge of the end-to-end investment lifecycle including order generation, trade execution, allocation, settlement, reconciliation, valuation, and corporate actions
- Experience facilitating workshops with senior collaborators including Heads of Investments, Fund Operations, Product, and Regulatory teams
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience delivering change across Fund Administration, Investment Data and Reporting solutions, Investment Platforms, and Portfolio Management Systems
