We are looking for talented and driven Senior Business Analysts to join our Digital Team within our Chief Operating Office. One of Royal London’s strategic goals is to be a ‘Digital-First’ organisation and as a member of the Digital team, you will help realise this ambition. Our projects will improve the customer journeys on our Mobile application, both customer and adviser web portals, as well as projects to increase efficiency of our operations. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of business analysis outputs and techniques across the full change lifecycle, serving as a critical link between business and technical teams to drive clarity, alignment, and effective delivery. A

About The Role
- Analyse processes and data to shape effective business and technology solutions.
- Play a pivotal role in identifying and supporting digital opportunities, articulating clear business benefits, and recommending actionable next steps to maximise value.
- Elicit, challenge and document requirements from stakeholders to identify and address business challenges on both waterfall and agile projects.
- Facilitate workshops with a wide range of stakeholders to understand current and future state, documenting process maps to reflect these.
- Ability to work within a team, working on one or more projects at any given time.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and deliver value.
- Support testing and implementation activities, including defining user acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Analysis practices across Royal London.

About You
- Experience working within Financial Services is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, delivering analysis across complex business and technology change initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Experience using a range of business analysis techniques, tools and methodologies to gather requirements, analyse processes and support delivery.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional squads is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across business and technology teams.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working with ambiguity, managing priorities and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about digital innovation, acting as a digital champion and staying up to date with emerging technologies, trends and best practices
We would particularly love to hear from you if you have experience delivering payment journeys within a financial services organisation and our focus is on candidates who can demonstrate:
- An understanding of card payment collection and Open Banking pay-by-bank options for customer payments, enabling seamless and secure transactions.
- Experience improving customer payment journeys to reduce failed payments and support persistency, ensuring customers have a positive and reliable experience
- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape around payments in financial services, such as FCA requirements / AML / KYC considerations, Consumer Duty implications for payment journeys
