Senior Business Analyst, Lending UK

3 days a week in the office | £75,000–£90,000

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to own requirements and functional delivery for lending software projects, from initial discovery through client acceptance. This is a hands-on senior position with real responsibility and a strong focus on commercial outcomes.

The company develops configurable software for lenders and insurers. It is a founder-led tech scale-up, where decisions are made quickly, and your judgement is valued. The Lending team is expanding and needs a senior analyst to lead implementations from the first discovery call to client sign-off.

You will lead discovery and scoping, question requests that increase costs without adding value, and write clear, testable specifications and user stories. You will also be hands-on, configuring fields and workflows, working with JSON and SQL as needed, and seeing work through testing and user acceptance. You will work closely with a Project Manager, who manages the plan and budget, while you focus on requirements and functional quality. You will also review and mentor junior analysts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
