Senior Business Analyst – AI & Process Transformation

Inside IR35 - £575 - £650
Contract Until 31st March 2027 +
London / Hybrid - 1 - 2 Per Month
BPSS

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join an innovative transformation programme exploring how Artificial Intelligence can improve complex business processes, workflows and ways of working.

The successful candidate will work across multidisciplinary teams to understand existing processes, identify pain points and opportunities, and design future-state workflows that make practical and responsible use of AI.

This is not a technical AI development role. Instead, we are looking for an accomplished Business Analyst who understands what AI can and cannot do, and can translate that understanding into practical process improvements and operating models.

The role will involve significant stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation, so you will need to be a confident communicator who can constructively challenge stakeholders, defend recommendations and navigate complex organisational structures.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Analyse and map existing business processes and workflows, identifying pain points, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design future-state processes and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Assess where AI, automation, knowledge management and decision-support capabilities could add genuine value to existing ways of working.
  • Consider the capabilities, limitations, risks and practical implications of AI when developing recommendations.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions with business, operational, user-focused and technical stakeholders.
  • Challenge assumptions and confidently present and defend recommendations when required.
  • Produce clear as-is and to-be process maps, operating models, requirements, recommendations and other Business Analysis artefacts.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, constraints and change impacts associated with proposed process redesigns.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to balance user, business, operational and technical requirements.
  • Develop approaches and reusable process blueprints that can be applied across different teams and environments.
  • Translate complex findings into practical recommendations and delivery plans.
  • Navigate organisational governance, reporting structures and appropriate internal channels when progressing recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
