Senior Business Analyst | eDV Cleared | National Security | £75,000 - £90,000 | London, Manchester or Cheltenham (Hybrid)
About the role
I'm hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a digital transformation partner delivering mission critical programmes across UK national security.
You'll sit at the centre of delivery. Defining the problem, shaping the solution, and keeping users at the heart of it, this is hands on BA work on programmes that matter. Not slideware.
Locations: London, Manchester or Cheltenham. Hybrid, with site presence required as the programme demands.
eDV clearance is essential. You must hold live eDV to be considered.
What you'll do
- Understand and define the problem to be solved
- Translate user needs into clear user stories
- Help the delivery team choose the best approach, prioritise work and deliver to an agreed MVP
- Support testing and make sure functionality meets user and business needs
- Support the Product Owner in building and shaping the backlog
- Model business processes, as is and to be
- Manage stakeholders across technical and non technical audiences

What you'll bring
- Active eDV clearance (essential)
- Strong commercial BA experience in a Natsec or government environment
- In depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Solid grounding in Agile. Scrum, Lean, Kanban
- Functional and non functional requirements, acceptance criteria, user stories
- Experience in cross functional teams with a continuous improvement mindset
- Confident customer facing skills and the ability to set expectations
- Understanding of Government transformation strategy and service standards
Nice to have
- Data mapping
- Experience working with APIs

Process
Two stage. A technical interview, then a short presentation and panel interview.
